1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of The Art Snob’s website and purchases from our store. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Art Snob.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products.
2. Using Our Store
You must be legally able to enter into a purchase agreement or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate billing, contact, and shipping information and to keep any account credentials secure.
You may not use our website for unlawful activities, submit fraudulent orders, interfere with website security, or violate another person’s rights.
3. Products & Made to order Production
The Art Snob sells art products made to order through production partners. Production generally begins after an order is placed.
Review the product description, dimensions, materials, selected options, and framing details before purchasing. Room scenes and other styled images may illustrate how artwork could look; the product description specifies what is included.
We aim to display products accurately. Colors may vary slightly between screens and printed products. These variations do not excuse significant printing defects or products that materially differ from their descriptions.
4. Prices & Payment
Prices, shipping charges, and applicable taxes are displayed before you complete checkout. Payment is required when you place an order.
We may update prices, promotions, and product availability for future purchases. A price change does not change the agreed price of an existing order.
If we discover a material pricing or listing error affecting your order, we will contact you to explain the issue and offer an appropriate resolution. We will not charge an additional amount without your agreement. If we cannot fulfill your order, we will cancel it and refund the amount paid for the canceled items and associated charges.
5. Orders, Changes & Cancellations
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. We may decline or cancel an order if we cannot fulfill it, payment fails, or there is a reasonable concern about fraud. If a paid order is canceled by us, we will notify you and issue the applicable refund.
Email theartsnobprints@gmail.com immediately if you need to change or cancel an order. Requests can be accommodated only before production starts and when our production partner can stop or change the order.
Once production begins, changes and cancellations are unavailable except where required by law, including any applicable rights concerning shipment delays.
6. Production, Shipping & Delivery
Production and shipping timeframes are provided on our website or during checkout. Production time is separate from transit time unless stated otherwise. Carrier delivery estimates may vary, and items in the same order may arrive separately.
If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you, provide an updated timeframe when available, and offer the choice to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped items for a refund as required by applicable law.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Address errors may cause delays or additional fulfillment charges, which we will explain before arranging reshipment. Contact us if an order is missing, damaged, or delayed so we can investigate.
For international orders, any import duties or taxes payable on delivery will be handled as disclosed at checkout and required by applicable law.
7. Returns, Replacements & Refunds
Our Refund & Return Policy explains the process for returns, replacements, and refunds.
Because products are made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges except where required by law. If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly printed, or different from what you ordered, contact theartsnobprints@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery, with your order number and clear photos.
Confirmed issues qualify for a replacement or refund as described in our Refund & Return Policy. This reporting window does not limit any longer period or remedy provided by law.
8. Artwork & Intellectual Property
Purchasing a physical print does not transfer any intellectual property rights in the artwork. Any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights that exist remain with their respective rights holders.
You may display your purchased physical artwork for personal use. Purchasing a print does not grant permission to reproduce protected artwork, manufacture copies, or use protected designs commercially. Nothing in these terms restricts uses permitted by applicable law.
Website content, branding, and images may be used only with appropriate permission where legally required.
9. Personal Information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please review that policy for details about how information is collected, used, and shared when you visit our website or place an order.
10. Third-Party Services
Our store uses third-party services for functions such as payment processing, production, and delivery. Separate third-party terms may apply when you use those services directly. External links may lead to websites with their own terms and privacy practices.
Using production partners does not remove our responsibilities to you as the seller.
11. Website Availability & Consumer Rights
We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but temporary interruptions or errors may occur. Contact us if an error affects your order.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights, legal guarantees, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where applicable law provides greater protection, it applies.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and updating the date above. Updates apply prospectively. Purchases remain subject to the terms in effect when the order was placed unless you agree otherwise or applicable law requires a change.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
